Lazer Tag Academy DVD and Video Guide

Lazer Tag Academy aired from 1986-1987 on NBC. Based on the popular game, the series was about a girl from the future (Jamie Jaren), who must travel in time to defeat a villain determined to use the time traveling abilities of the lazer tag pistols (the Starlites) for his own gain. Jamie teams with her ancestors (Tom, Beth and Nicky Jaren) and they travel through time battle the evil Draxon Drear.

The show was produced by Ruby-Spears. The rights were purchased by Saban Entertainment (Saban & Levy did the music for the show) and it re-aired on the Sci-Fi channel in the late 1990s. There are only 13 episodes.

Unfortunately, so far no DVD release of Lazer Tag Academy is in the works. It's uncertain who even owns the rights to the show right now.
